I will be in conversation with Kathy Hinde and Fiona Sampson. Kathy was commissioned to create visual images for the Messiaen concert, Quartet for the End of Time. Kathy will show and discuss her images during the pre-concert event.
THSH Poet in Residence, Julie Boden and Fiona Sampson, Fellow at the Capital Centre, Warwick University, will discuss with Kathy Hinde the various ways in which art forms can work together. Fiona's poem, Messiaen, from her collection Common Prayer (Carcanet) will be published in the programme. Fiona and Julie may also read new poems inspired by Messiaen or by Kathy's visual images. Questions will be taken from the audience.
